I LOVE First Graders!

I am a graduate of the University of Mississippi. GO REBELS! My husband, Carroll, and I love living in DeSoto county. We moved to DeSoto county from Powder Springs, GA. We both graduated from high school in Corinth, MS and our families are still there. We have two beautiful daughters that graduated from Horn Lake High School. Kimberly is a BSNRN  at LeBonheur Endocrine Clinic and is the Mother of our two beautiful granddaughters, Whitney Carroll and Waverly. Kristen is our youngest daughter and is a teacher at LMS. She is also the Mother of our very handsome grandson, Levi and our youngest granddaughter, Lexi. We are very proud of our daughters and their families.

I have been a First Grade Teacher at Lewisburg Primary School since the doors opened! I am very excited about this year at  Lewisburg Primary. I taught First Grade at Shadow Oaks Elementary and Lewisburg Elementary before moving to LPS.

I love First Graders! It is so rewarding to watch them grow from the wide eyed child that walks through the door in August to the very confident child with the "I can" attitude that leaves in May. Every step along the way we learn together and have fun!
