News to Know

During this challenging time, we here at PHES are currently working on ways to ensure all of our students have access to an education.  Please continue to monitor teacher websites for additional information.   We will also be utilizing SchoolStatus to send out messages of updates as we have them.

-March 18, 2020

The district increased the signal strength of all of our schools' WiFi systems.  This will give students who need Internet the ability to sit in the parking lot and use our WiFi.  They will need to login to the Guest WiFi network.  There is no password needed.

Our amazing activity teachers have been posting fun ideas that you can do at home, as well! Click on the activity class below to find these resources.

About the Teacher

Welcome to Mrs. Megan's Kindergarten Class!

Hi! My name is Mrs. Megan Stotts and I am so excited to be your Kindergarten teacher! We are going to have a fun year learning lots of new things. I can’t wait to get to know each and every one of you, but first I am going to tell you a few things about me.

I grew up in Olive Branch and attended DeSoto County Schools until college. When I graduated from Olive Branch High School, I moved to Oxford to attend the University of Mississippi. (Go Rebels, Go!!) I majored in Elementary Education with reading and history as my focus areas. I student taught in fourth grade here at P.H.E.S. and discovered firsthand how wonderful and special our school is. I taught third grade for eight years, and this will be my fifth year teaching Kindergarten! I know it is going to be a blast!

Mr. Bryan Stotts and I have been married for twelve years, and we have a sweet little boy named Beckett and a precious little girl named Blair. Beckett is seven years old (eight years old in December!) and will be starting second grade this year! Blair is three years old. She will celebrate her fourth birthday in February.

This year is going to be full of excitement, and I’m so glad we get to share it together! Don’t be nervous…we are going to have TONS of FUN! I am looking forward to an AWESOME year!

Some of my favorite stuff:
