Welcome to First Grade!

Hi all! Welcome to 1st grade at LPS! My name is Ashley Cook. This will be my seventh year teaching! I taught Kindergarten my first year and have taught second grade for five. This will be my first year to teach 1st grade, and I’m so very excited to meet your child and be their teacher! I truly have a passion for teaching and my favorite moments are watching your children grow and become independent learners. Please feel free to contact me via my school email for now. I graduated from Mississippi State University in 2016 with a Bachelors's degree in Elementary Education. I also have a Masters's degree in Educational Leadership from Arkansas State University.

I am so excited to welcome you to the 2022-2023 school year, and I cannot wait to meet all of you very soon!
