I graduated with honors from the University of Mississippi in May of 2016. I received my Bachelor of Arts degree majoring in Elementary Education with an endorsement in Special Education and English.

I have been a member and employee of Desoto County Schools and the Lewisburg school district since August of 2008. I held a teacher assistant position in Kindergarten for 5 years, and then transitioned to a Personal Care Assistant in Special Education for 2 years. I also worked as an assistant for the Extended School Year program for several years.

During this time I gained invaluable experience and knowledge in working with students with developmental delays and disabilities. I truly found my calling and heart's passion in Special Education, and I am beyond excited to begin my teaching career in this area.

I have lived in the Hernando/Lewisburg area my entire life. I have three children- Carson is 4, Chloe is 6, and Kamrin is 11. They are all Lewisburg Patriots!

I love reading, doing arts and crafts (or at least Pinteresting about it), and music!
