Special Education

I graduated with honors from the University of Mississippi in May of 2016. I received my Bachelor of Arts degree majoring in Elementary Education with an endorsement in Special Education and English.

I have been an of Desoto County Schools and the Lewisburg school district since August of 2008. I held a teacher assistant position in Kindergarten for 5 years, and then transitioned to a Personal Care Assistant in Special Education for 2 years. I also worked as an assistant for the Extended School Year program for several years.

During this time I gained invaluable experience and knowledge in working with students with developmental delays and disabilities. I truly found my calling and heart's passion in Special Education!

I am married have four children- Carter is 9 months, Carson is 6, Chloe is 8, and Kamrin is 13. We have a blue pit named Violet!
