Bio

My name is Judi Stewart.  I graduated in 1994 from Mississippi State University with a Bachelor's in Elementary Education.  I received my Master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction with an emphasis in Language Arts in 1996 from the University of Mississippi.

I taught second grade for sixteen years before making the move to the library.  I have been blessed to be a part of the LPS family.  I am in my sixth year as the librarian for LPS.

My daughter, Merrill, is a junior at Hernando High School.  She enjoys taking care of the animals on my parent's farm, theater, and serving on the Mayor's Youth Council.  My son, William, is a freshman at Lewisburg High School.  He loves sports and keeps me busy running him to practice.  He is the starting center and defensive end on the 9th grade team and is the longsnapper on the LHS Varsity team.

I am a huge Mississippi State Bulldog fan!  Nothing makes me happier than watching my Dawgs play.  You will find me in the stands for each football game cheering my team to victory.  I also am a avid reader!  I love to discover new authors to enjoy.  Not only do I read books written for someone as old as I am, I love to discover new books for my LPS kiddoes!  My prayer is that they will develop a love of reading that will last a lifetime!
